Thorel suggests that parents often opt for the Ligier, a similar microcar with four wheels, as it offers a sense of safety and sportiness with its 50cc petrol engine. The Topolino, with its gentle and efficient nature, may not be seen as a "status symbol" by teens, which is a key consideration for Fiat.
